Welcome and thank you for your interest in learning more about your child's development!

Thank you for completing the general development screening. We recommend all families to also complete the social-emotional screening in order to get the fullest picture of your child's development.

You can help keep track of your child's social and emotional development by completing the Ages & Stages Questionnaires: Social-Emotional. You will be asked to answer questions about some of your child's behaviors. The questionnaire includes questions about your child's ability to calm down, take direction, follow rules, communicate, perform daily activities (eating, sleeping), act independently, demonstrate feelings and interact with others.

Please note that this program is available only for residents of San Mateo County, California.

If you live in another county or state, please contact your child's pediatrician for developmental guidance.

Your information will be shared with the San Mateo County Office of Education and their evaluators to improve understanding of the impact of developmental screening services in the community. Only a few authorized individuals will be able to see your screening information and they are not allowed to share your private information with anyone.

You also agree to receive information from Help Me Grow with the results of the screening.
